| I bought this through HSN last year and when I went to order replacement filters I was told they could not ship filters to Alaska. No idea why, but I decided to look on Amazon and found them! YEAH! These filters are excellent. I hadn't changed mine in over a year and when I got the ones I ordered from Amazon, I replaced them in both of my machines. OMG! The hair and crap that was in those filters was DISGUSTING, but even though they were packed full of yuck, they continued to clean the air! Now they are much happier and it really helps with my allergies and with the dust accumulation in my home. We live near the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau Alaska and we have glacier silt (a very fine dust) which is difficult to deal with. This filter works great for helping cut down that silt. |

| I am very pleased with these filters. I have a Rottweiler and an English Mastiff and combined they weigh over 275 lbs. Even though my dogs were bathed several times per year my home smelled like I had dogs. Now my home is virtually odor free of doggie smell. |

| I've been using these for about 2 years and they seem to work fine... They definitely get dirty, so, the filters are definitely catching stuff... Every Sunday I take the filters out and wipe off the front (which catches the really large particles)... One the front is wiped off, you can inspect the inner filter area to see how dirty it really is inside... Once it gets too dark grey inside you NEED to replace it with a new, clean, white filter (otherwise it blocks airflow and fails to clean you air properly just like any filter)... That's about it...! :) |

It was received in a timely manner and apparently not damaged. However, it did not come in the Hunter box...it was loose. SO I don't know if this is a genuine Hunter replacement Hepa filter or not. It was made slightly different than my previous one. I don't know if they changed the product, or if this is not the genuine article. Would have preferred to get it in an actual Hunter-Hepa box so as to prove it's genuine quality.
2/23/2007-I purchased it this time from Amazon. It came in a Hunter box-looks and performs like a Hunter. And as usual. Amazon got it to me quickly. |
